BOARD HAPPENINGS 2/14/2012
Resignations submitted by treasurer Bob Mc Quin and co-chair of the board Gary Bonds.
Board received letter from member Earl Buss regarding needed recordkeeping improvements. Board Members Don Noel and Jami Dean agreed to work with Earl to improve and bring ranch records into compliance with the by-laws and state law.
Board agreed to cease work on solar system for the next 60 days awaiting opinion letter from WTR legal counsel regarding the need for 2/3 member approval on capital improvement.
Date set for April member meeting, April 21, 2012, Chili Cookout with prizes for the best chili was suggested,
Board is now seeking two board members and a Recording Secretary.
Road committee met 2/11 at the clubhouse. The main member concern centered around failure to properly maintain the gravel roads of the ranch. Committee vowed to correct the situation.

BOARD HAPPENINGS 1/14/2012
Board is very pleased to announce the appointment of WTR resident and member Jami Dean to the board. Jami will fill the position through the Annual Meeting on August 4.

Board authorized Bonds, McEuin, and Jones to contact WTR legal counsel regarding new polices and procedures to deal with dues delinquencies
Authorized Jones to solicit bids for WTR insurance coverage
Discussion of filling currently vacant board position
Discussion of filling secretary position
Adopted WTR calendar through August, 2012
Requested that accountant investigate possibility of paperless billing and internet payment system for WTR
Member Road Committee Meeting set for 2/11/2012 at 11:00AM at the Clubhouse

BOARD HAPPENINGS 11/9/11
Board Chair, Allan Jones, withdrew his resignation and is remaining on the board of directors.
Board Secretary, Mike Porter, resigned as Secretary and board member. Effective immediately.
Board is left with two vacancies and in need of a secretary. Board is seeking volunteers or nominations or suggestions to fill those positions.
At the next board meeting (1/11/2012) the board will discuss the possibility of hiring a person for the secretary's duties.
